CP Pianos - Soundfonts
Based on the CP70 and CP80 electric grand pianos, especially famous for their unique sound and widespread use in rock, pop and jazz fusion music throughout the late '70s and '80s. With real strings and hammers like an acoustic piano, but using pickups instead of a soundboard for amplification. Bright, punchy and slightly metallic, less mellow than a traditional grand piano. Sits well in a band mix without overpowering other instruments. Often described as more percussive and direct. The electric grands were sampled with 6 velocity layers to capture every nuance and resonant qualities of this expressive instrument, including dry and chorus versions. A sample library specially programmed for any software or hardware device capable to load Soundfonts. All instruments are multi-sample and multi-layer at 16-bit/44.1 stereo quality. More than 1.9GB of audio data including 12 piano patches sampled to recreate this popular instrument.
